Kahapon habang walang magawa sa loob ng production kundi ang mangharot sa mga operator at magpakyut sa mga girls ay tinanong ako ng isang kapwa engineer na chinese kung ano daw tawag sa elevator.
Eng. Hsu: (in chinese!)"Eng'r, what is the english of an elevator"
Me: "Elevator!", walang kagatol gatol kong sagot.
Eng. Hsu: No!
Me: "Huh! Why? If not elevator, then what? aberrr!"
Eng. Hsu: Eeeetttt issss an UP/DOWN machine!!!" (sabay tawang aso!)
Gusto ko tuloy tumambling hanggang North pole ng mga oras na yun pero maraming nakadown na machine at baka hindi ko kayanin kase umatake ang rayuma ko sa sobrang lamig dito!

At hindi lang yun meron pa. Pero this time sinakyan ko na ang trip niya kaya tinanong ko siya sa iba pang mga bagay...

Since this is my 50th post and the last for the year 2010, I would like to thank all the people who followed me since I started on 2009. Thank you guys for believing in me. Salamat sa lahat ng comments, spending & giving time to visit & reading my post. I hope that you enjoyed even a little. And also I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all guys for sharing your ideas to others and for touching my emotion, for making me laugh to the fullest and for inspiring me to do great things & for believing & trusting myself more. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Its been only 5 days to Christmas. We, Filipinos, loves this season more than any other holidays. It has always been a joyful time wherein we can spend with our families & the people we loves the most. But Christmas doesnt always worked that way. Christmas, I think, imparts a more valuable lesson in life more than gifts, foods, the songs, and all the material things that we received. We should remind ourselves that Christmas is celebrated because it is the time that we can become a better person by virtues of generosity and greatfullness. Christmas always gives us a chance to shine and display our greatness.
While I was watching the TV earlier, the ABS-CBN station ID for 2010 caught my attention. Their theme on this years Christmas plug is "Ngayong Pasko Magniningning ang Pilipino", which is interpreted by Gary V & Toni Gonzaga. Aside from its catchy tune, I think it also emphasizes that all Filipino deserves a fair chance to shine this season.
The chorus is very apt on the concluded matched between our very own Pacquiao and Mexico's pride Margarito, wherein the Filipinos shine once again. Pacquiao proved to the world how great fighter he is. Aside from that he also gave all Filipinos around the world of something to be proud of. But what is more admirable to Pacquiao was when he showed inner strength when he refused to inflict more damage to his opponent. In one of his interview he said that, "boxing is not for killing each other" and for that impressive statement he stood out one more time.
It is not only Pacquiao that makes our country proud, there is Charice Pempengco & Arnel Pineda, who does not tired on proving how talented the Filipinos are. Another is Efren Penaflorida, the CNN's 2009 Hero of the Year. He also showed how compassionate Filipinos are and for giving the importance of education, when he used his kariton being a classroom to teach the less fortunate children on the streets. And the AZKAL's, the Philippines National Football team, without the government support, still, they struggle to fight to show to world that Filipinos can excel even on football. They are just among the many ones who continously gave us something to be proud of and something to believed in. Their successes gives us hope that everyone can achieve more than what they achieved. One more reason why we shine throughout the world is because of our OFW's, the what we called the newest Hero of our time. Their dedication to their job, talents & intelligence, hospitable & care for others, also the determination to succeed are some of the many things that other countries & cultures admires of. No greater love than being apart from love ones just to give them a good life & future.
They are just among the many ones who continously gave us something to be proud of and something to believed in. Their successes gives us hope that everyone can achieve more than what they achieved.

The World AIDS Day is celebrated every year on the 1st of December. It is dedicated to elevate the awareness of AIDS pandemic sources by spreading of HIV infectivity. It is ordinary to hold remembrance to respect persons who have expired from HIV/AIDS on this day. This year's theme is "Act Aware" meaning, we cannot live only for ourselves & we must aware that there are people needed our support in their times of survival with this infection. It is also about increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education. It is also important in reminding us that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done.
Let us all pray those people who suffered & still suffering with this infection & may a treatment be found soon.

Ilang araw na lang at eleksyon na. Ito ang araw na pinakahihintay at pinakaasam ng lahat ng mga kandidato. Ito rin ang araw ng kauna-unahang Automated Election sa bansa. Ang araw kung saan matatapos na ang pagpapapogi nang mga mapagkunwaring kandidato. Subalit heto ang tanong ng nakararami...

Handa ka na bang iboto ang sa palagay mo'y makakapagpabago sa bansang Pilipinas? Handa ka na bang iluklok sa pwesto ang sa palagay mo'y may malinis na interes at hangarin para sa ating bansa? Handa ka na ba ihalal ang sa palagay mo'y makadiyos, makabayan at hindi corrupt na kandidato na tatayo bilang isang pinuno ng ating bansa? At handa ka na ba sa makabagong paraan ng pagboto sa ating bansa na kung tawagin ay automated election? Pwes! kung magkagayon, wala na akong magagawa.
Subalit sa mga nakalipas na araw, ibat ibang balita ang aking nabasa at narinig tungkol sa unang Computerized Election ng bansa, kabilang na dito ang ilang aberya sa dry run ng mga makinang gagamitin sa eleksyon na tinatawag na Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) at ang kontrobersyal na CF card o Compact Flash, kung saan dito ini-store ang data na nabasa ng PCOS.
Tatlong araw na lang. Tatlong araw na lang pero kabikabila ang pagpalpak na nangyayari sa mga PCOS machine, sa CF card at sa mismong pagdedeliver nito iba't-ibang dako ng bansa. Mga aberyang may kinalaman sa pandaraya.Mga pandaraya at mga pansariling interes na hangad ng ilan upang sila ang iluklok at italaga sa maling paraan.
At bilang isa sa masang Pilipino na umaasa sa maayos (kung hindi man malinis) na eleksyon ito lang ang aking maibabahagi. Ilan sa mga madali nating gawin sa araw mismo ng halalan.

It is a story of young Kirra (Bindi Irwin) who leaves Australia to accompanied her grandfather in South Africa for summer. She soon discovers a baby orca who stranded in a lagoon near her grandfathers rundown seaside amusement park. She named this lonely orca, Willy. From then on they started such a great adventures & embarks a great quest to lead this poor Orca back to his pod before her grandfathers greedy rival turns willy into captive for money making attraction in his theme park.

New year, new start, new stories for us. And as, this is my first post for this year of 2010 I would like to share on how I welcome the year of the golden TIGER. Well, simply, me & my brother & his friends attended the yearly Taiwan countdown held at the front of the famous & 2nd tallest building in the world, the Taipei 101 (508-meter or 1,676-foot). Taiwan, inspite of having a different culture from us, filipino's, and because of the influence of the western culture, celebrate new year with a bang. There's a show before the fireworks displayed burst in the entire building and skyscraper of 101 tower. Local taiwan artists performed as the crowd awaits the main event. Taiwan with this years vision 2010:TAIWAN UP hoping for a better & further economic stability. Despite of last years economic downturn, taiwanese & taiwan government are looking forward for a better relations with China & other countries. I've been in this country for almost 7 years now & I witnessed the ups & downs of this country from President Chen Sui Bien to Ma Ying Chiu administration. And as an adopted son (walang kokontra) of this country I should say that this is new & a fresher start for taiwan people on 2010. Looking beyond positively & aiming for a better economy.
President Ma pushed the button as the hand of time strikes at 12, signified that year 2010 is already came in. After the fireworks display finished its moment of showing his beauty above the sky which is lasted for almost 5 minutes, the show continue and lot of artists performed to welcome 2010 with a smile. Some celebrities that i saw are Rainie Yang, Crowd Lu, Yoga Lin, Della, Fahrenheit, SHE, Mayday, Wang Leehom to name a few. As they performed on the stage me, my brother & his friends ate the media buena that we brought. The show finished almost 2:00 AM. And we go home with a smile as early as 5 AM of January 1st.

Pero bakit hirap na hirap tayong baguhin ang ating hindi nakasanayan.
