WHERE IS MY DAY OFF? (THE GRAND MARCH)

Ito ang sabay sabay na hinaing at sigaw ng migranteng Filipino, Vietnamese at Indonesian na namamasukan bilang domestic workers, katulong, katiwala, DH o kasambahay. Sila na nagtatrabaho para sa kani-kanilang pamilya. Sila na may mga baong pag-asa hindi lang para sa mga mahal sa buhay kundi para na rin sa kanilang mga bansang pinagmulan. Sila na pinagkakaitan ng isa o dalawang araw na pahinga. Sila ang mga totoong bagong bayani.  

Sa pangunguna ng Migrant Empowerment Network of Taiwan o MENT at sa pakikipagtulungan ng Hsinchu Migrants and Immigrant Service Center(HMISC) kaakibat ang iba't ibang support group mula sa iba't ibang syudad at probinsya ng Taiwan, isinagawa ang isang malawakang protesta para sa iisang  sigaw ng ating mga domestic workers, ito ay ang karapatang makapagpahinga, at ang equal rights katulad ng mga nagtatrabaho sa mga kumpanya at pabrika. Sa kabila ng pagtaas ng minimun wage para sa foreign workers sa mga kumpanya at pabrika, ang ating mga kababayan na nagtatrabaho bilang kasambahay at katiwala ay nanatili pa rin sa minimun wage na NT$15840. Kaya naman nagsama-sama at nagkaisa ang iba't ibang lahi upang iparating, katukin at kalampagin ang mamamayan ng Taiwan na bigyan ng karapatang mamasyal, makapagsimba, makapagpahinga at bigyan ng pantay na karapatan tulad ng sa iba.
