NOBODY by WONDERGIRLS...ANG AKING KARANASAN

Meron akong napansin na one of their posts have in common.

Competitions at the highest level in a multitude of diverse, popular and spectacular sports make up the mainstay of The World Games.Sports practiced on land, in the air, in and on the water, they all concur in the pursuit of 'Faster, Higher, Stronger'.

At quadrennial intervals, in the years following the Games of the Olympiad, the world’s best athletes in these sports unite in their common search for excellence during The World Games. As the pinnacle in the competition calendar and as a highly visible stage for top athletes to perform on, The World Games generate worldwide exposure for the participating sports and athletes alike.

Above all, The World Games provide the unique setting for thousands of athletes from different sports and countries to join in a celebration of unity and friendship across all boundaries. The World Games are the MAIN EVENT for all these athletes – one marked by sporting exploits as well as by camaraderie. (http://www.worldgames2009.tw/mes2009.tw/mes2009.tw/).

************************************************************************

Akalain mo yun, meron palang existing event na tulad nito, in my entire life, ngayon ko lang nalaman na meron palang world games na tinatawag, at take note, pang 8th season na pala (every after 4 years, since 1981).

"Tchoukball is a genuine team sport. It stands proud as a spectacular and unique game, capable to attracting people of all sporting abilities. There is no physical contact between players and both teams attack at both ends of the court. What other sport boasts these attributes? The absence of contact means that players of differing shapes, sizes and even genders can compete against each other. Fair play and respect for the opposition are fundamental to the way tchoukball is played. At a higher level, tchoukball is intense, fast and skilful. Players specialise in offensive or defensive positions however the key to success is flexibility and solid teamwork. Tchoukball is played with passion, commitment and flair."

Although, inisnab daw ng CHINA ang event na ito (due to territory conflict), bongga ang opening at closing na naganap sa KAOHSIUNG, TAIWAN and all well applauded by the organizing committee, sa madaling sabi pinagkagastusan at pinaghandaan, meaning all out ang support ng sports department ng bansang ito.

Here is the MEDAL tally of this event.

Rank
1 RUS - Russian Federation = 18
2 ITA - Italy = 16
3 CHN - China = 14
4 USA - United States = 13
5 FRA - France = 11
6 UKR - Ukraine = 11
7 TPE - TPE - Chinese Taipei = 8
8 GER - Germany = 6
9 KOR - Korea, Republic of = 6
10 AUS - Australia = 5
11 GBR - Great Britain = 4
12 JPN - Japan = 4
46 PHI - Philippines = 1(Bronze)

Bakit ganun, PHILIPPINES 1 bronze medal.

3. Blogsite ko - para kay PRES. GMA, para mabasa nya to, bago siya magSONA.

4. Fly Trap/Fly Flappers - for PRES. OBAMA, so that, if in times of his interview or in any speeches he's ready if there's a fly buzzing around. (siyempre, english, taga USA kase...para maintindihan, malay niyo bisitahin to).

9. PRC logo - para kay totoy (CHOI), buddy ko sa web, hanggat me PRC me board exam.

11. Nurse Cap - para sa BUNSO namin, continue following the path for your future. We always there to support you.

16. Pen - para sa mga BLOGGERS all around the world, ipagpatuloy natin ang ating pagsusulat, upang magbigay ng inspirasyon sa iba.

Istrikto man kayo, kayo pa din ang the best aunties in the world, para sa akin.

Till next time...

BLOGGERSOMNIA (A SLEEPING DISORDER)

FOR 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF NOT SLEEPING, I SHOULD SAY THAT BLOGGING IS ONE OF THOSE SLEEPING DISORDERS THAT I HAVE. I CALLED IT BLOGGERSOMNIA.

BLOGGERSOMNIA, IN MY OWN WORDS, DEFINES AS, A SLEEPING DISORDER THAT YOU CANT SLEEP WITHOUT CHECKING, UPDATING & POSTING NEW BLOGS ON YOUR BLOGSITE. THIS SLEEP DISORDER USUALLY HAPPENED TO THOSE WHO HAD SHARP MINDS, THOSE WHO HAVE INEPT VISIONS & VIEWS IN LIFE, WHO HAVE CREATIVE THOUGHTS THAT THEY WANTS TO SHARE WITH OTHERS, THOSE WHO HAVE A LOT OF STORIES IN LIFE AND SOMETIMES SAD MEMORIES, AND SOMETIMES TO THOSE WHO ARE FAR AWAY FROM HOME, LIKE ME.

I STARTED POSTING LAST MID-WEEK OF THIS MONTH AND FROM THEN ON I CONSIDERED BLOGGING AS ONE MY FAVE HOBBIES RIGHT NOW. HERE ABROAD YOU NEED SOMETHING TO & GOT YOURSELF BUSY, JUST TO EASE SADNESS AND AWAY THINKING YOUR FAMILY BACK HOME. WORKING FOR 12 HOURS (730PM~730AM) IS REALLY TIRING FOR SOME, BUT IN MY CASE IT REALLY HELPS A LOT TO DO MY THINGS. AS AN ENGINEER FOR A COMPANY THAT EXPERIENCING CRISIS WE HAVE AN AMPLE OF TIME TO DO ANYTHING & AND EVERYTHING WE WANTED. THAT’S WHY I HAVENT TOOK A SLEEP FOR 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS...WORK, BLOG, WORK, UPDATE BLOG... THAT USUALLY I DID ON THAT 2 DAYS.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME SITUATION LIKE ME, HERE IS MY LIST, TO KNOW, IF THEY HAVE THIS BLOGGERSOMNIA.

1. EXCITED TO GOT HOME EARLY AFTER WORK,

2. OPEN PC FIRST INSTEAD OF EATING BREAKFAST,

3. USED THE COMPANY AS BEDROOM,

4. SOMETIMES FORGET THE COMPROMISES THAT THEY IN TO,

5. EYEBUGS,

6. CALLUS ON THE FINGER NAILS,

7. MEMORIZE THE ALPHABET LOCATION ON THE KEYBOARD,

8. A LOT OF HICCUPS,

9. WEARING EYEGLASSES, AND

10. NOT SLEEPING FOR 2 DAYS (IN SHORT, ADIK).

WELL, GUYS, IT’S ALMOST 7PM HERE. NEED TO PREPARE MYSELF FOR A NOT TIRING WORK THAT I HAVE IN TO (PARANG NASA CONSTRUCTION LANG NAMAN, ALANG KAPAGOD-PAGOD).

TILL NEXT TIME......

7. DigiCam/MP4/Laptop/PSP/Cellphones & iPOD. (Filipino abroad became tekkie the time they set foot on the foreign land, same as me).

8. Everyone is single. (Others never admitted that they are married or attached.)

9. They never eat some foods they always ate back in the Philippines.

I'm not against sa gobyerno natin but then, their support is, isa sa mga sandata natin upang makasurvive tayo sa hirap dito sa ibayong dagat.
